Helen Liskov Honored

The City of Bridgeport, CT recently honored NYSID alum Richard Liskov’s mother by renaming its Children’s Library the “Helen Werner Liskov Library for Children” (see plaque). Mrs. Liskov, who passed away in 2016 at the age of 104, was the first woman Director and Board President of the Bridgeport Public Library and Reading Room.
